Origin

In order to elevating international competitiveness and cultivating people’s English proficiency, the government aims to develop Taiwan into a bilingual nation by 2030. To achieve this vision, the Ministry of Education subsidized public libraries to promote multiple English learning programs to make the public libraries become English learning places. 

National Central Library develop English learning resources platform online. Gathering public libraries English learning resources in Taiwan, to provide for use by all of the general public. This website includes English online learning platform, books, E-resource and activities. We hope to encourage the public to enhance their English skills and become the global citizen with international perspective.
